IF YOU know fashion, you know Grace Coddington.

Perhaps not personally (unfortunately for us all), but certainly enough to pick out an outfit styled by the one-and-only from a mile off. You know the ones; the seemingly carelessly thrown together yet perfectly co-ordinated outfits which made the likes of Carrie Bradshaw a household name when it came to street style (if you don’t know who Carrie Bradshaw is then perhaps this article is not for you).

Now, the Vogue legend has joined forces with jewellery giant Tiffany & Co. for its fall 2016 advertising campaign and her first brand advertising campaign since becoming editor-at-large for American Vogue. The campaign is set to celebrate Tiffany & Co.’s classic designs by featuring celebrity talent know for “their unique style and point of view”.

The tagline for the campaign is nothing less than perfect considering the Coddington influence: Some Style is Legendary.

“Tiffany—and its famed Blue Box—has always held special meaning for me,” Coddington said in a statement.

“To me this is not just an ad campaign, but an opportunity to portray a legendary house of luxury through modern portraits of uniquely talented subjects.”

It’s no surprise to learn Coddington had a hand in selecting the talent.

The powerful portraits include Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, actress Elle Fanning, as well as maternal health advocate and model Christy Turlington Burns, and model Natalie Westling wearing Tiffany jewelry and photographed by David Sims.

“For our latest campaign, we set out to find the best creative talents both behind and in front of the camera, to present our iconic collections,” Tiffany’s chief brand officer Caroline Naggiar said.

“Who better than Grace Coddington, a style legend in her own right, to serve as our creative partner.”

We may be biased (considering we are Sex & The City obsessed here at #stylehunterhq) but we can’t wait to see what the team comes up with.
