SOME OF Australia’s best designers will wake today in New York knowing there is less than 24 hours until their designs hit the catwalks of New York Fashion Week.
Our own international springboard, Fashion Palette, will help showcase a range of established and emerging designers over two runways on September 8 (keep in mind: the big apple is almost a day behind us).
In its sixth season Fashion Palette New York Fashion Week 2016 (FPNYFW16) will showcase the Swim/Resort and Women’s Ready-To-Wear collections from: Con llio, Frankie Swimwear, Sabo Luxe, AlphaBe the Label, Sara Bailes, Milanja, BOSSA, Cristahlea, Ark Swimwear, Lil and Emm, Ete Swimwear, Natalie Rolt, Stephanie Chehade, Sui Generis, Sally Skoufis and Homebodii.
Speaking to us earlier this year, FPNYFW founder Sonya Mefaddi said the Fashion Palette showcase in New York was a huge opportunity for the Aussie designers.
“Fashion Palette provides Australian labels with the opportunity to present their collections to top tier US and international buyers from department stores including Bloomingdales, SAKS, Nordstrom and Farfetch to name a few, as well as global media, stylists and bloggers,” she said.
Fashion Palette will kick off New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer ’17 with two runway showcases on September 8th at Pier 59 Studio.
