SHE IS one of those girls who – famous or not – would have always stood out in a crowd. And now, Aussie-babe-turned-Hollywood-honey Isabel Lucas is ready to shine some LA light on this year’s Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.lucasThe Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen actress was today in Melbourne alongside Lord Mayor Robert Doyle to launch the 2016 event as its ambassador.

The blonde stunner had all eyes on her, wearing a one-of-a-kind sustainable piece from Melbourne label Thurley’s 2016 resort collection.

Known for being a big supporter of emerging labels, the unique trend-setter appears to be the perfect fit for the face of the city’s 22nd spring fashion week after Lord Mayor Robert Doyle praised the ‘local talent’ featured in the yearly event.

“The thing I love most about MSFW is that 85 per cent of the content is derived from local Melbourne or Victorian talent and everything you see on the runway can be purchased here in Melbourne,” he said in a statement.

The premier fashion event of the season will kick off with the Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out Australia (VAEFNO) on Friday, August 26. This one night only shopping event will see more than 400 retailers offering tailored experiences and exclusive specials across Melbourne … all while you sip away at your champagne and cozy on up with the celebs.
