Let’s say goodbye to dough and carbs and hello to the healthy fruit alternative (just in time for summer!). The trend came straight from our other #BFF Instagram and immediately caught our attention.

Savoury pizza with feta cheese
Perfectly appropriate to pair with a summer barbecue, this one gives the whole idea of pizza a fresh, fruity taste. You will need cucumber and paprika – all cut in small slices – feta, as well as olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Crumble the feta over the melon slices and add the vegetables. You might also add some olives, onion rings or parma ham. Now you refine it with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper et voilá!
This is even more than a pizza! The sweet option is a super easy and yummy dessert idea. In this delicious scenario the watermelon slices are turned into fruit lollipops. Therefore you cut a little hole in the rind and impale the watermelon slice with a wooden stick. Let bittersweet chocolate melt in a water bath and dip the tops of the slices in it. Afterwards you garnish them with bananas, strawberries, blueberries and finely chopped almonds.
Sweet pizza for breakfast
Pizza in the morning? it’s getting even better! Spread some yoghurt on the watermelon slices (just to remind yourself that this delectable feast is actually breakfast). Also, feel free to use natural or flavoured yoghurt. For the topping, muesli, nuts, berries and coconut flakes can be used.
