The biggest issue with wearing lipstick? Having to reapply ALL THE TIME! Oh you want a cup of tea? Well now your lipstick is all over your cup. Absent-mindedly touched your lips? Now you’ve got lipstick all over your face and you look like a clown. Time for lunch? Good luck getting that sandwich in without ruining the lipstick that you’ve so carefully reapplied a hundred times today already. It’s infuriating, not to mention the dirty looks that your boss is giving you because you’ve had to dash to the bathroom AGAIN to reapply lippie.
Enter Provocalips, the latest Rimmel London product to hit the market. Our English beauty babes have had their hands on this one for a while but it’s only been recently launched in Australia. Not to be confused with their Apocalips range (a high shine gloss), Provocalips is a super long-lasting range of kiss-proof colours. The new range is double ended with one side for applying your super pigmented colour of choice and the other for adding a glossy top coat. Best of all, the Provocalips range is non-drying so you can look forward to moisturised lips that stay pretty all day long. Rimmel calls it “lip liberation” and I think they are right on the money. How amazing is it not to have to reapply your lipstick?
The range includes eight shades from the ultimate nude to the brightest red to the softest pink so Rimmel has all your bases covered. My personal favourite shade is Make Your Move, it’s been on my lips round the clock for the past week! To use, you simply apply the colour, hold your lips apart for 60 seconds and then apply the gloss and you’re good to go. Eat, drink and kiss the day away and Provocalips will stay put. And let’s face it, anything promoted by the gorgeous Georgia May Jagger is a winner in my book!
Provocalips retail for $17.95 each and can be found at Priceline, Priceline Pharmacy, Chemist Warehouse, Target, Kmart, BIG W, selected pharmacies and selected Coles and Woolworths stores.
