Street Style. Where it all comes to life. Sometimes as unique and original as the individual and at other times the trends feel like they are marching toward us in a pack. The greatest predictor of what we really think of what’s coming down the runway. It’s our everyday; the “real-way” and what better time to take note than fashion week. The place where the streets have a name and call it style.
New York, London, Milan and Paris. Where Fashion’s Editors, Bloggers, elite and hopefuls flock twice a year for the F/W and S/S collections, and while the influencers are judging the success or failure on the catwalk the world stops to make their own judgement of style as the outrageous, the eye catching and the downright coveted is displayed on the street; and while most of us can only dream of jet-setting between the fashion capitals with a front row seat, in reality the honour belongs to a select few but thanks to many a street style snapper, our eyes are ever on the ground.
From behind the lens emerging trends are captured and as the southern hemisphere shapes up for the new A/W15 season, the direction of style is to be celebrated, not ignored. Let it be said; all thanks be to the fashion God’s because this seasons top picks are not dependant on impossibly flat mid-drifts or thin pins, and so far, there doesn’t seem to be too many “fleeting” fads as fashion embraces signature pieces that if chosen well, will become treasures for a life time. So, “style- hunters”, lets take a look at the key looks and items that have made the fashion floor cut, keeping you in style for this season and beyond.

We saw it in the S/S15 Collections and it’s place in our wardrobes continues to be elevated throughout the cooler months.
Faux or Real. You choose, just make sure you do.
Rockstar, grunge or classic and chic. It just wouldn’t be winter without it.
All we need now is for the temperature to drop to the crisp and the cool. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait!
A/W15 is going to be nothing less than chic xo
