Forever New will join established and emerging local Australian designers, brands and retailers at the week long event showcasing the latest Spring collections and key trends.
The Forever New Runway will feature over 30 looks from the September ‘Ibiza Luxe’ and a sneak peek of October and November collections showcasing a range of glamorous day looks, on-trend spring event dresses and co-ords along with statement formal pieces in bold colours and silhouettes.
Forever New’s Spring collection stars Australian model Elyse Taylor and features new silhouttes in fresh prints, sharp monochrome and pops of summer coral pink with soft laces and muted florals key for September.
The Runway will also feature a stunning new resort collection designed by 2014 RMIT Scholarship winner, now Forever New Design Assistant, Anna Pipkorn.
After showing her creations on the MSFW Emerging Runway in 2014, Anna will debut her first 10 piece capsule collection for Forever New on the Hub Runway with a strong focus on new silhouettes and fabrications. The range will launch in select stores and online in November 2015.
“I’ve developed a gorgeous crisp white cotton embroidery fabric that I’ve manipulated into really special shapes, spliced and cut about with trims and tassels. I’m so thrilled to be involved in Melbourne Spring Fashion Week again this year and to debut my Forever New capsule collection on the runway”, Pipkorn says.
Anna’s inspiration has come from her favourite blogs and stylists and was influenced by the recent Resort ‘16 catwalk shows, drawing on the new shapes and textures shown, merging this with her understanding of the Forever New brand essence and feminine touch the brand’s customer seeks.
